We are always in search of ways to rejuvenate our life. We seek fresh energy to fix the broken relationships, kick start the abandoned projects, and rewire the forgotten habits. A new beginning brings a lot of energy like nothing else. A new tool is no different.
Lately, my life has been a hustle. I was looking for a new tool to organize myself better, write more, and become productive. And I found LogSeq.
I have gone from unorganized to doing daily and weekly reviews without fail. I am ticking most of my tasks planned for the day. I am doing more self-reflection in the form of journaling. I am writing about 1500 words daily.
What changed in a span of 10 days? The tool? Nope. It’s the mindset. A new beginning brings with it the energy to move mountains. Logseq is no different than the tool I was using earlier RoamResearch. Honestly, I only use the very basic features like bi-directional links and daily pages. But I am able to do more with the new tool because of the new energy from a new beginning.
If we can capitalize on the energy from our new beginnings, and build momentum, we can get past the plateau of latent potential to see the results we want. If you are stuck, ask yourself what’s something new you can do to bring fresh energy.
